Bruno Giuranna leads the Advanced Course in Chamber Music for Strings and Piano, an advanced training programme focused on concert activity, aimed at pre-formed chamber ensembles, from trios to quintets. The course consists of ten monthly sessions, each lasting three days, of which two will be led by Enrico Pace, who will focus on the preparation of the artistic performance.
The participating ensembles will also have access to the complementary activities organized by the Stauffer Academy. Among these, particular emphasis is placed on public performances, with the Session Recitals, monthly appointments integrated into the course, and the Artistic Projects that provide students with concrete opportunities to engage with live performance. Additionally, the groups enrolled in the course are regularly recommended to concert institutions for potential inclusion in their seasons.
The Stauffer Foundation fully covers the tuition fees for the Academy’s courses, exempting admitted students from any payment. In return for this support, students are required to commit to the Academy’s educational program, respecting attendance schedules and demonstrating a participatory and proactive spirit in the activities organized to foster and support their artistic development.
The lesson and exam schedule will be available shortly.
The course is open to pre-existing string and piano ensembles, from trio to quintet, of any nationality, with members not exceeding 30 years of age as of the application deadline.
