Victory for Davide Cretarola!

Congratulations to Davide Cretarola, a student of Salvatore Accardo at the Stauffer Academy, winner of the 2024 Massimo Marin International Violin Competition for the Junior category.

The repertoire presented by Davide ranged from Ysaÿe’s and Paganini’s sonatas to the performance of his personal cadenza on Mozart’s Concerto and Bach’s Partita from the autograph manuscript.

This important prize was accompanied by the Special Award for the Best Candidate in the entire Junior category, which grants Davide the privilege of playing a violin offered by the Accademia Liuteria Piemontese.
