Archipelago final concert at Giovanni Arvedi Auditorium

Archipelago Cremona, the cycle of meetings, masterclasses and concerts dedicated to the world of chamber music, concluded with a double concert at the Violin Museum, featuring five soloists from the Stauffer Academy and the young chamber ensembles of Le Dimore del Quartetto.

After four highly successful editions in Venice, Archipelago has landed in Cremona with a wide range of events, ranging from master classes with the Cremona Quartet and concerts to networking initiatives and guided tours. The project has been realized thanks to the synergistic collaboration between Le Dimore del Quartetto, the Stauffer Academy, Gioventù Musicale d’Italia and the Violin Museum, and with the artistic direction of Simone Gramaglia, viola player of the Cremona Quartet and teacherStauffer.

“We would like to create on Cremona a pole where we listen, live, breathe, and talk about chamber music, which concentrates in a single event everything that revolves around albellissimo universe of stringed instruments, violin making, and artistic operators”-says Simone Gramaglia.

At the conclusion of four intense days of activities involving musicians, luthiers, musical institutions and enthusiasts, a double chamber recital dedicated to the Romantic repertoire, ranging from Schumann and Schubert to Brahms and Dvořák, was held at the Giovanni Arvedi Auditorium.
