Trio Chagall triumphs at the Schoenfeld International String Competition

Congratulations to Trio Chagall, the students of Maestro Bruno Giuranna at the Stauffer Academy!

Trio Chagall, consisting of Edoardo Grieco (violin), Francesco Massimino (cello) and Lorenzo Nguyen (piano), won the First Prize at the Schoenfeld International String Competition in Harbin. Established in 2013 in honour of the legendary musicians Alice and Eleonore Schoenfeld, it is considered China’s most important contest in the sphere of chamber music and is part of the World Federation of International Music Competitions in Geneva.

Trio Chagall is the first Italian ensemble in the history of the competition to have won the gold medal, thus achieving new concert prospects in China.
